Feb. 4th, 2010 09:46 amBisexual Star of Darkest Night Talks About His Boyfriend!
Tony snickered at the headline. He could just picture Mason curling his lip and saying, "He's a co-star."
Tony flipped through the pages until he found the article. Oh, man. Big photo of him and Lee hanging out in Lee's apartment from the photo shoot on Sunday. They sat together on the couch in a "this is totally not posed, rly" pose, in which Lee managed to look natural and Tony managed to not blink when the flash went off. He recognized another photo from the Darkest Night press kit and one that probably came from the Pong! The Musical press kit.
A sidebar article mentioned other celebrity bisexuals. Tony rolled his eyes. They make it sound like the latest fashion accessory. "Have a same sex romantic partner on your arm for all the spring photo ops!"
Lee told a heavily edited story about meeting Tony on the set of Darkest Night, leaving out the killer shadows, haunted houses and demons. He managed to drop in a plug for the show ("Returning Monday, February 8th!" the article helpfully added) and then he addressed his own sexuality.
"I've always liked women," the handsome actor says, relaxing on his couch, "I had thoughts about guys sometimes, but I figured I couldn't be gay. Didn't even think about being bisexual, y'know? When I was younger, you either were or you weren't. It wasn't until I met Tony that I started questioning myself." Lee flashes a grin at his production assistant boyfriend who blushes a brilliant pink as the attention turns to him.
Tony blushed again, reading the article. Did that reporter really have to include that?
"So what?" shrugs Alicia Hernandez, who co-stars with Nicholas in Pong! The Musical. "Lee's a great guy, no matter who he's dating. I just hope if they break up, he decides to give women a shot again." She flashes a seductive smile and this reporter can't imagine any guy turning her down.
Tony scowled at the page.
"I figure I'm lucky enough getting to sing with him every night." The love theme from the show, Player One Is Up, is now available on iTunes.
Tony groaned, dropped the magazine on his nightstand and flopped down on his bed. Then he snorted at himself. How many times had he looked at magazine pictures of Lee with some busty blonde and wished it'd been himself in the pictures? Be careful what you wish for! Really, it wasn't that bad.
[OOC: Anyone who wants to read the article can come across a copy of People magazine somewhere. Post and door are open!]
