Tony's side of the room was decorated simply with a Canadian flag and a Darkest Night poster featuring a large photo of Lee Nicholas.

"This is my room," Tony said, flipping on the lights. "I have a roommate, but I don't know where she is right now." And the nickel tour of the Fandom High dorms came to its conclusion.

"Hiding from her parents?" Henry guessed. "Very forward school you have here, coed rooms and all."

"Yeah, it's unique," Tony said. "By the way, watch out for gremlins." He wasn't sure what effect a gremlin bite would have on a vampire but figured it was best they didn't find out.

Henry didn't even pause. "Gremlins?"

"Little green creatures. They bite you, you do weird embarassing things. Or so I've heard," Tony said.

"No personal experience?" Henry asked completely innocently.

"Not yet," Tony said. "Hopefully never. Though if it happens, I'm sure someone will take pictures."

"It's a high school, I believe the photos of embarrassing moments is a given."

"How would you know?" Tony asked.

"Writing does require research." Henry pointed out.

Ino was bored. And moody about her dad leaving, but mostly bored.

"Tony?" she said, leaning against the door frame without bothering to actually look into the room yet. "Entertain me."

It was almost an order.

A beat. "Oh, hello." Um. Ooops?

"Hey, Ino," Tony grinned. "This is my friend, Henry. Henry, Ino."

"Nice to meet you," she chirped, because that was what you said.

And, you know, 'wow, you're hot like that guy two doors down from me' was a bit rude.

"It's always nice to meet Tony's friends." Henry said with a polite nod of his head.

"I'm awesomer than most of them," Ino informed him. "He can't help but like me."

"It's her modesty I admire most of all," Tony said.

"Pfft," she said, waving one hand dismissively. "You don't get anywhere by being modest when you're right."

Henry smiled. "That's one way to look at it. What are you studying, Ino?"

"So do you think I would look funny in a hat?" Andrew asked, walking into Tony's room. He had a catalog in his hands and was flipping through the pages.

"Depends on the hat," Tony said. "Hey, I want you to meet someone."

Andrew glanced up and looked about. "Who? Seregil?" He grinned at the other boy. "We already know each other."

"Actually, this is Henry," Tony said. "Henry, this is my friend Andrew."

Henry gave Andrew a rather long look. "Pleasure to meet you. I actually met Seregil last night. The resemblance was uncanny."

Andrew blinked. There was a difference, a slight one...

"Oh, wow." This was Henry. "Hey, it's really nice to meet you." Andrew walked over and held out his hand.

Henry shook the offered hand, and if his grip was firmer than usual, well, it was Henry. "It's nice to see Tony with so many ... friends."
