OOC: Plot Recruitment

I'm working on a proposal for a plot using the canon from Smoke and Mirrors, the second book in Tony's series. Is there anyone familiar with the series who would be interested in playing NPC ghosts for such a plot?

I'm thinking of mid-January for this, FYI, though that's not in any way official and subject to change if the wind blows westerly.

I don't know the canon, but I just want to throw it out there that anything ghost related is right up Ichigo's alley if you're interested...

Unfortunately, I don't know his canon, either. What's his deal with ghosts?

Basically he has been able to see ghosts since he was very little. Then he ended up by circumstances acting as a shinigami (a death god). Which means he fights the evil spirits and helps all spirits in general pass on to his canon's afterlife. He can leave his body and run around in spirit form and...

Yeah, it's all very Bleach specific so totally cool if you're rather not. =o)

Oooh. That has a lot of potential. Can he physically affect ghosts? Does he have any other powers?

Yes, he can. His spiritual powers means he can affect them. His powers are... complicated to explain. He has a huge amount of spiritual pressure himself so spirits tend to be drawn to him. If he bothers to concentrate, he should be able to sense them around (he usually doesn't however). Feel free to hit me up on AIM if you have questions.

Hm. Helping ghosts move on could be a big help in the finale but him being able to physically affect ghosts could trump something I want Tony to do. Would you be willing to have him incapacitated for part of the plot? (This would take place over a weekend.)
