The nice thing about your boss being up-to-date on the wacky in your life is that when you're expecting demons to attack, it's a good excuse to skip work.
Tony and Leah had moved over to Leah's apartment, since she didn't want to sit around and wait for an attack in the studio he was subletting. Once they'd made it there safely (and since there didn't seem to be any demons ready to jump out at them just yet - one, two, three... okay, still no demons) Tony had time to call in reinforcements.

Tony dialed Merlin's number. |
Merlin |
It only took... three minutes to figure out which button to push to turn the phone on. But he managed! "...hullo?" |
Tony |
"Hey, Merlin!" Tony said. "You willing to come up to Vancouver for a little bit? I could use your help here." |
Merlin |
"Sure!" Think that through, Merlin. "What's wrong?" |
Tony |
"I need another wizard to help me patch up some weak spots between dimensions before anything big can get through," Tony said. "Have you ever heard of a Demonic Convergence?" |
Merlin |
"...no?" Oh god, should he have? |
Tony |
"Damn," Tony sighed. "We don't have much info on what's going on. I've got a... source that knows how to close the weak spots, though. Figure with two or us it'll go faster." |
Merlin |
"When do you need me there by?" Not that Merlin had a clue how to arrive, of course. |
Tony |
"If you can get here by tonight, that'd be great," Tony said. "Think someone there can help you figure out plane tickets?" |
Merlin |
"Um. I could talk to Dinah. Or Francine." There was a pause before. "I--don't know if I can go without Arthur." |
Tony |
Tony considered this and shrugged. "Bring him. We can use the muscle if another demon makes it through." |
Merlin |
"Um, text me where we should be going, alright? I'll... figure out how to get there." With help. Soooo much help. |
Tony |
"No problem," Tony said. "Give me a couple of minutes and it should come through." |
Merlin |
"Excellent! I'll let you know when we'll be there." In his own, special, poorly spelled way. |
Tony |
"Thanks, man. I owe you for this." |
Merlin |
"Anytime." |
